As more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot for recommendations instead of scrolling through search results, one Woolwich agency is building its work around a simple question: when an AI assistant answers, does it mention your business?

Himal Tech, an SEO and AI search agency based at Gunnery Works in the Royal Arsenal, has been helping businesses in Woolwich, London and across the UK get found online since 2012. Its work now covers both traditional Google rankings and visibility in AI search tools, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot.

From search rankings to AI answers

The agency was founded by Shakti Ghimire, who has worked in IT since 2001 and is a professional member of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. He leads the SEO and AI search work himself.

Alongside SEO and AI search optimisation, Himal Tech designs and maintains websites, manages Google Business Profiles so that local customers can find a business on Google Maps, and runs AI training for teams that want to use tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot at work.

No ranking guarantees

The agency is direct about what it will not promise. It does not guarantee rankings, on the grounds that nobody controls Google's algorithm. Instead it agrees goals with each client and sends a report every month. Contracts run month to month and prices are agreed upfront, with monthly SEO packages listed at £300 to £900.

Clients from skincare to sushi

Its client list includes the London skincare brand Vicoskin, the restaurant franchise IRO Sushi and Real Dreams Educational Consultancy. The agency holds a 4.9 rating from its clients on Google.

For businesses that want to know where they stand, Himal Tech offers a free five-minute consultation, in person in Woolwich or online.
